1. Who is responsible for your data

PFE Technologies Pte Ltd (UEN 197800448W) operates HomeGroupBuy and is responsible for personal data collected through this service. This Notice is intended to explain our practices under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

2. Data we collect

• account data supplied through our sign-in provider, Clerk, such as your name, email address, phone number, account identifier and authentication status;
• household and eligibility data, such as estate, postal code, block, unit, new-home address, key-collection and renovation timing, planned categories, membership status and verification records;
• estate requests and communications you send to us;
• offer, purchase, payment, fulfilment and customer-support data when those features become available; and
• technical and usage data, such as pages viewed, device/browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, cookies and analytics events.

3. Why we use it

• create and secure your account;
• verify estate eligibility and prevent duplicate household registrations;
• operate membership reviews and any future offers, purchases and fulfilment;
• respond to estate requests, questions, complaints and support needs;
• send essential service and campaign communications;
• send marketing only where you have made the optional marketing choice;
• measure and improve the service, including through Google Analytics 4;
• prevent abuse, protect security, maintain audit records and comply with law.

4. Who receives it

We may disclose relevant data to service providers that support identity, hosting, databases, analytics, communications, payments and fulfilment; professional advisers and authorities where legally required; and participating brands where needed to fulfil an offer or where you separately choose to share an enquiry or interest.

Your block, unit and verification documents are not provided to brands merely because you join a campaign. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Overseas processing

Some service providers, including identity and analytics providers, may process data outside Singapore. We require or rely on measures intended to provide protection comparable to the PDPA where the transfer-limitation rules apply.

6. Marketing and withdrawal of consent

Marketing consent is optional and separate from the data needed to administer your account or membership. You may opt out of marketing at any time. You may also withdraw consent for other processing with reasonable notice, but we may be unable to keep a membership active where the withdrawn data is necessary to verify or operate it. We will explain the likely consequence when handling your request.

7. Access, correction and account choices

You may ask to access or correct personal data in our possession or control, subject to applicable exceptions. You can also edit some account details yourself from your account settings. Contact us using the details below for access, correction, withdrawal or privacy questions.

8. Security and retention

We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted administration and audit records designed to protect personal data. No system is completely secure. We retain identifiable data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, disputes, fraud prevention and legitimate business records, then delete it or remove identifying links where appropriate.

9. Cookies and analytics

HomeGroupBuy uses necessary browser storage for account and security functions and Google Analytics 4 to understand use of public pages. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. You can restrict cookies through your browser, although doing so may affect sign-in or other functions.
